Silviu is a talented and dedicated web, identity and print designer based in London, UK. And he has the great life advantage of liking what he does. No, let's rephrase that… of loving what he does.

Working as a web and graphic designer fulltime is what he made a life-changing decision to do. Leaving the high-earning potential and stability of hydroenergetic engineering he retrained as a graphic designer.
And he hasn't looked back in the six years since he completed his training.

Engineering great design

Silviu combines the thoroughness and practical approach of a trained engineer with the aesthetic principles and creativy of an inspired designer.

It is no surprise that he views commonsense web usability guru Steven Klug as one of his sources of inspiration. With this grounding influence Silviu's design is able to showcase his lively imagination without ever losing sight of the end-user or of his client's business objectives.

Work style

Silviu's flexible work style has also been to his advantage over the years. Organised and highly motivated he is capable of juggling multiple complex projects, either flying solo or as part of a team. He has both managed a creative team and managed himself as a successful freelance designer.

He believes in listening very carefully to what his clients have to say, and in clearly understanding where they're coming from and what they want to achieve before starting on a project.

And he takes pride in his professionalism at all times, in all situations.

Design experience

Silviu has worked for companies across the EU, including the UK, France, Romania and Switzerland. He counts ad agencies, PR companies and web development agencies amongst his clients, and has completed projects for small business start-ups and industry giants, including Coca Cola, Danone and O2.

This has required a great versatility and flexilibity in understanding objectives and working within design and budget limitations. These business-oriented skills make him an asset to any creative team from the early stages of project planning.
